17th November, 2015: Family & Domestic Violence Roundtable with Minister Fentiman
This community event considered presentations from a range of people working in this space, either as a preventative measure or in assisting men, women and children affected by DV. A great organisation I would like to highlight is Say Yes to Family Peace – the Say Yes Initiative is a strong call for family peace from the heart’s of men.
I spoke about the importance of acknowledging pornography as an influence that impacts young people’s attitudes towards women, along with how it is linked to a rise of child-on-child sexual abuse; and the urgency for schools to address this issue.
